First, even if it is Bruce Willis, he's not unscrewing them without a ratchet and spark plug socket. Second, stealing the ignition wires would accomplish the same effect (although we do only see him lean over the engine and then hold two plugs). Third, removing two spark plugs would not stop it from starting. All it would do is cause two misfires.
