DrWingTipShoes ◊ 2010-01-25 21:08	Rear bumper and 'cat's eye' taillights are pre-1970 but 'dimples' just visible in rear quarter are '72-74 (5th pic). She's a hodge-podge for sure! And remember, rear bumper overriders did NOT wraparound in '70-71. I really enjoyed how the headrests kept coming and going depending on whether Uma was being shot from the front or back - LOL.
DrWingTipShoes ◊ 2010-07-27 19:46	Pic 4 shows TWO LARGE gauges so it's a '72-74 ('67-'71 had large speedo flanked by small gas gauge and small clock). Pre-'67s had large clock and large speedo with small gas gauge in between. This is DEFINITELY a '72 or newer dash. Also, the slant of the taillights in pic 5 means it's NOT pre-'70. I have a yellow '74 coupe, but when my dear, soon-to-be-ex-wife saw this movie, she pointed and said "THAT'S the one I want". She walked out in February. Ingo ◊ 2014-01-12 14:19	Even 1972+ is not possible with thrse bumpers and taillights. A better shot of the dashboard would be fine. The not very good pic of it (thumb no.4 shows plack plastic all around. A 1973/74 has the 1303-four-spoke-steering-wheel, too. And yes, we have two different cars here, note the headrests (sometimes with, sometimes without). How likely would be a plastic-made repro-kit-car? Not only from the Porsche 356 Speedster exist some, from the Karmann Ghia, too.
