'Old Dinah', a steam engine built in the 1890s by Best Manufacturing Company in California and originally employed to haul borax out of Death Valley as an alternative to mule teams. Dinah's career was plagued with problems and never very successful. The boiler exploded in 1909, ending Dinah's career for good. Hauled out of the desert in 1932 and displayed as a tourist attraction ever since.
