Targas are coupes. Cabrios are convertibles. |

We have a mix of the two on the site ![]() Maybe we should decide officially. Or maybe it depends, older ones are rather considered as convertible (originally made as workaround for the fear of convertible ban in USA) and newer ones as coupé with a big sunroof? |

The only ones I would consider a "convertible" are the very early soft-top versions. To me, any of them with fixed rear glass should be "coupe" |

I'm used to Targas being listed as coupes - leaves everything clear for the later cabrios to be convertibles. The very early 911/912 Targas with zip-out rear windows might qualify as convertibles as said above, but is it worth the effort to split them off and would it last if we did?? |
