This was the last car mu granfather would have liked to buy but he sadly passed away before. He had a very good Fiat 125 Specfial which had the problem of rust everywhere. He liked the early E12s and was aiming at a 518 in Saharabeige. I was almost 16 and dreamed about this car. My first girlfriend was a Bavarian teenager whose dad had got another 518, a 1975 one in Veronarot (bright red) with the old Füssen plate (I still remember but I think it is not the case to publish it on the web). Therefore I have a special feeling towarts early E12s. Oddly enough I did not like so much any of the following series (with the partial expeption of the E60 and . |

It’s not a 1973, it’s 1975. Manufactured in May 1975 first registered Aug 7th 1975. Actual factory colour Chamonix 085. I know this, because that’s my car. |

No it was wrapped for the film, you can see on the Instagram page, the paint wasn’t great so I was okay with it being wrapped. I’ve since had a resprayed back to factory colour as at some stage someone had sprayed it Alpine white. -- Last edit: 2025-09-26 20:04:28 |
