It is indeed, this is one of the SSK replicas that Mitsuoka Motor's BUBU Classic produced. These were released in July/August of 1987/88 and was limited to just 200 units. These were apparently kit cars that used Volkswagen parts. The SSK is pretty well known in JP known thanks to a certain third generation thief you might've heard about ![]() Apparently only 20 examples still exist in JP as of 2017. Some details don't match Mitsuoka. From what I've seen in pictures, all BUBU Classic SSK's have more-or-less straight bumper bars with indicators, wing mirrors and comically large headlights. This looks like something else, maybe an import ![]() |
