Early version of US E21 320i. Note: no passenger side rear-view mirrors, no fog lights, has steel wheels, and curved head-rests. In the first scene with this BMW (when Donald Pleasance is exiting his place of business, and enterting his car) you can hear the sound of a classic BMW "door-buzzer, or fasten-seat belts buzzer" pre-1985 (similiar to older Mercedes-Benz buzzers). Some nice shots/scenes of this 320i driving casually. Definelty the real sound effects. |

This is labeled incorrectly. There was never a 1975 E21 320i in the US. The US E21 320i was not available until 1977. This US 320i, is a 1977-1978. -- Last edit: 2006-03-21 20:46:05 |

I was wondering...some E21s are listed as 'Sedan' (such as this), others are listed as 'Coupè'. I think it would be better to category it as 'Sedan', because the E21 and the E30 existed as '2-doors' and '4-doors', while the E36 and the E46 were 'Coupè' and 'Sedan'. For you which is the right category? |

Difficult question. Depends how the "2-door sedan" are listed. For me the E30 is clearly a sedan though it has 2 doors. But the E21 may look a little like a coupé... |

Anyone know what color this car is? Sierrabeige is the one that matches closest from the paint samples I see online. |
