432 FLD is 1963 Aston Martin DB4 Series 5 Vantage [1153/R], one of only 136 DB4 Series V Vantages made. Supplied new to "Brooklands of Bond Street”, London and was one of their demonstrators. Now concours resto in California Sage (green/silver) metallic and for sale for so many squillions that they're too embarrassed to quote the price .... "432 FLD appeared in the TV Series “The Sentimental Agent”, a 1963 drama series spin-off from "Man of the World", produced in the UK by ATV for ITC Entertainment. It stars Carlos Thompson as Argentinian Carlos Varela, a successful import-export agent based in London. The car was used by the production team and appears in various episodes." Seen in opening credits of every episode but then not seen in series. Maybe they borrowed it from dealer Brooklands to film the opening credits. In ep. 1 and 2 he is driving different Astons then no more Astons. -- Last edit: 2023-09-17 10:16:08 |
