an_unusual_eye ◊ 2023-03-29 21:40	I haven't seen the movie yet, so I don't know what they claim the car(s) to be. I keep hearing "240Z", but both the widebody car and the flip-car that are pictured all over the web have later (1974-78) taillights. Not an easy swap, and not a common one either. Generally, people are taking steps to make their 260Z/280Z look like a 240Z, not the other way around. They almost certainly they used later S30 cars that still have somewhat less value than the 240Z. Likely, all are 1975-78 280Zs, no matter what they claim in the script.
