A reminder of the days when petrol forecourts had a selection of pumps in a line. Power: Regent: Cleveland: National Benzole: Shell: Dominion: BP: Jet: NAFTA: ROP: Esso, to mention a few. “Five gallons and two shots of Redex please.” Or, perhaps Carburol instead. My Dad wouldn’t buy National Benzole, he used to say it burned the valves out. Cleveland Discol, the Alcohol petrol.
