I have successfully obtained a vehicle inspection certificate for the 330 Cedric (R330 220D Deluxe).
I was able to restore the car that was blown up in the "Alice in Borderland" series.

A brief explanation:

Shortly after I had my CBJY31 Cedric restored by Suzuki Takasaki West, I fell ill and went on sick leave, leaving me with a lot of free time.

Then, I heard from someone I met at a car meet that they had acquired and repaired the 130 Crown from "Alice in Borderland," only for it to be released a few days later – a coincidence that seems too significant to be just a coincidence.

Surprisingly, the engine started within a few days of receiving it.
This was also relatively easy because someone was test-driving an industrial Nissan SD22 engine on a test stand and had written detailed instructions on their FC2 blog.

Incidentally, at that time, a main wiring harness was listed on Yahoo Auctions, and it seemed like I could manage the wiring somehow.

Since we didn't have a frame straightening machine, we used the barbaric method of simply pulling it out with a Suzuki Jimny to correct the damage. In fact, there are still a few bolts that won't go in.

Apparently, the side of the Fuga that was hit, according to the director's instructions, had already been modified, so the damage was only a few centimeters deep.

I also obtained the glass from Yahoo Auctions (it was actually listed for sale when I acquired the car).

While it's surprisingly easy to find new glass for the sedan version overseas, I was fortunate to find the original blue glass with the integrated antenna wire (a strange feature of the 330, as it's usually found in the rear window).

The wiring was replaced wire by wire, using matching colored wires ordered from two different suppliers, Wiring.com and Unique Systems.
Fortunately, many of the connectors on the 330 were 250-type connectors, which are available at home improvement stores, so it was possible to restore it to almost its original condition.

Nissan Motor Company's headquarters sent us the wiring diagram, which allowed us to determine the correct colors and connectors, and we were able to get it working.

I worked on things like:
- Sourcing exterior parts
- Overhauling the brakes (I had to polish them extensively because replacement parts were unavailable)
- Welding the muffler and the frame, which had been damaged by rust.
So, despite the appearance, the internal components were in excellent condition, and it passed the inspection without any problems.

As you can see from the sequence of events, a great many things happen due to chance, like "I tried to do something, and then coincidentally, so-and-so did something else."

If you go back far enough, the story even begins with the Lapin SS being involved in a rollover accident (which was repaired and is still in use). These kinds of things are all a matter of fate, I suppose.

I had been following ryoppiof9scale ever since he got the Cedric, so happy to see it finished through and still kicking :king: (the pain from 2023 me is finally resolved :D)
