The Golf V was sold as Rabbit in the US and Canada and they were not made in Mexico, I believe they were imported from Germany or South Africa. The ones I checked in the US all had "W" plant codes, which is Wolfsburg, DE. I assume the Canadian ones are the same. Actually a Canada-spec 2008-2010 Golf City, a Mk4 Golf with an updated face sold at a discount alongside the new Mk5 Golf. |
