Hmm.. 1984 body colour engine intakes but 1981 black front bumper. Bumper replaced with earlier part after an accident? Or owner just didn't like the black engine intakes (and cover?) and had them painted over? Probably the former so 1984. -- Last edit: 2022-05-31 00:20:40 |

34 (or 35) made with RHD, first UK arrivals early 83 - the first customer car was red 12056 with black vents; red 12068 also 1983, has red vents. This 1986 red 12244 has black bumper and red vents. |

I think this is lhd, but in any case after browsing cars here and elsewhere my suspicion is that change to body-colour parts was more gradual than even some dedicated Jalpa site admins have realized. I think there's just too many cars with black bumpers but coloured intakes/round lights to all be special cases  The official line that all this happened at once in 1984 must be wrong imo...
