Monteverdi applied to become Jensen's Swiss distributor, and flew over to receive the first car in the arrangement - a LHD Mk2 in Regal red [106/2132]. Orders for 3 more were placed, but Swiss sales were poor - 106/2132 was eventually returned to Jensen, converted to RHD, re-numbered 104/2132 and re-sold in February 1965; the same happened with another Swiss CV8, 106/2165.
