Early 1964 Jensen publicity photo. Monteverdi applied to become Jensen's Swiss distributor, and flew over to receive the first car in the arrangement - a LHD Mk2 in Regal red [106/2132]. Orders for 3 more were placed, but Swiss sales were poor - 106/2132 was eventually returned to Jensen, converted to RHD, re-numbered 104/2132 and re-sold in February 1965; the same happened with another Swiss CV8, 106/2165. Story recounted here.

The story says this photo is Peter Monteverdi collecting the first Swiss Jensen - LHD [106/2132] in early 64. But it eventually returned to Jensen Motors in December 1964, was converted to RHD and re-numbered 104/2132, before being sold in February 1965. So the car had 2 identities, only becoming 104/2132 in 1965 when RHD after its Swiss adventures were over.

I'm wondering how it acquired a Swiss registration before leaving the UK.
