Not certain if this is a Vitesse, which had twin S.U. s instead of 1. It seems to be well equipped, dashboard, sunroof, opening windscreen and wires, so I can’t say it wasn’t either. By producing such a plethora of models instead of a plethora of profit, Triumph’s went the same way as Riley, that is, gobbled up by a mass manufacturer. In this case, Sir John Black's Standard Motor Co. Triumph’s prewar sales slogan “The smartest cars in the land”.
