I did a search on google with the registration number KUY 409, and come up with Link to "m.facebook.com" which apparently shows a small Bedford with a KABO body. Link to "forum.vbm.se" is a history of the KABO coach builder company situated in Umeå. On page 13 there's a picture of a very similar bus to the one above. It says it's a Bedford J 2 L 7 - 57 chassis, delivered in 1964. Edit: One can also read that Olof Arne Sandström, one of the founders of KABO, used to work at Gösta Nyström in Umeå. Gösta Nyström is quite famous for the GN-cabin, which used to be one option for drivers cabins when manufacturers delivered chassis only. GN was later bought by Volvo, and to my knowledge the cabins of Volvo trucks is still being manufactured in Umeå. -- Last edit: 2022-02-12 12:02:13 |
