Not sure why last night I put 2002, since I meant 2003 which had smaller reverse clusters (this tail light change is mentioned on an official M website). 2000-03 models had clear lenses covering a much larger area. Sales listing for comparison : 2001 model for sale. 2002 model for sale. 2003 model for sale. Of course, this one could have been replaced with the newer tail lights as well.
