Maybe the links in my earlier starting gate contributions can be helpful, if the filming location and race track are known. Then all we need are more pictures of said unit from other angles of the same period. Starting gates incl. their tractor units usually last very long, so there is a solid chance to find that out. Of course, there's also a solid chance that all of us will be noticeably older once this riddle is finally solved.

This movie was filmed in Yokohama so I imagine we can narrow it down to the horse race tracks in the Kanto region (Kawasaki, Fuchu, Ooi, Funabashi, Nakayama, etc) -- Last edit: 2021-10-05 14:19:03
