if filmed in the UK, Jumbuck was introduced here in 2003.

I think it is UK filmed, possibly at the Ardeer peninsula derelict weapons factory near Stevenston in Ayrshire - some other shots look like this complex. It was originally founded by Alfred Nobel, who established the British Dynamite Factory in 1871, and created what was described then as the largest explosives factory in the world. Fascinating story here - he later established the Nobel Peace Prize.

Some of the vast area is now a trading estate with industrial buildings, and a lot of the devastation scenes with derelict cars look as if filmed there, particularly the Jeep Cherokee with its background of remnant explosives bunkers. I did a brief photographic survey of the industrial estate and surroundings a few years ago when it came up for sale and recognise various bits; there's still a large portion securely fenced off for dangerous chemical production.

It was also used in a recent TV cop series - something like Annika?? - where they investigated a drone attack on a VIP demonstration of the latest UK army technology for a display of foreign arms buyers, and one drone went rogue and attacked the VIPs, but can't place what it was.
