Alpina wheels - could it be one of the "66 officially released by Alpina as the RLE Roadster Limited Edition" (from here)??

Wheels is weak.. a much loved 'upgrade' for BMWs, it should at least have the stripes to seriously consider it. 35 of the 66 went to Japan originally. Where is this?

The Alpina stripes (gold) are very thin and not very obvious in many googled pictures - try this page with at the bottom a green claimed Alpina with no stripes. Which means we're relying here just on the wheels to accept/reject the possibility.

Too dark to tell (silver was also offered). Experience says people rarely buy the deco-set compared to the wheels, so at least we know there's a good chance cars with one are genuine Alpinas -plus the different spoilers (like the B11) which isn't applicable here. But how many RLE's if any were ordered without stripes? Browsing this https://www.alpina-archive.com/?cat=51 can't say which ones had them in 1990-91 or how many were done/redone later. But certainly less than the 66 would be w/o stripes. Compared to about 8000 Z1's that's rare. I bet rarer than a wheels "upgrade" imo.
