s13a ◊ 2021-03-20 18:36	It appears that this model has a round badge above the grille (but no hood ornament), which most likely indicate a Toyota Motor Corporation model (since April, 1937), whereas the very early Toyoda models had no badge above the grille : Original 1936 press photo of the Toyoda Model AB (notice there's no badge) : 1938 museum example : Quote All vehicles produced from that point onward took the revised brand name Toyota, although it is clear that the transition took effect gradually. The image above, for example, shows the 1938 Toyota AB Phaeton with the new red-and-silver Toyota badge as well as the earlier winged bonnet mascot containing the stylised kanji characters for Toyoda.
