The space tells us that CA plates can have up to 7 letters/numbers. When you only have 6 and what's on the plate is a phrase, then a space is left on the plate between the two words. |

Interesting that CA TURN ON was approved. Most states won't approve a vanity plate that could be considered an inappropriate phrase like a 'turn on'. |
