Locally assembled by Gaya Motors and made for RI. Our 405 here is not an Mi16 as we never officially receive it in the country, but instead this is a 1995-1997 LeMans model which could be identified by smoked rear taillamps, alloy rims and Mi16 bodykit. The LeMans trims is sometimes mistakenly referred to as "STi Lemans" but no official brochure, record or advertisement show this nameplate or have this trim referred as is. ![[Image: screenshot159.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/33422/25/screenshot159.jpg) A single facelift was done in 1995, the SRi now featured the XU10J2 engine. A LeMans trim was also introduced in this year, powered by the XU10J4 engine and featuring the Mi16's bodykit as standard.
