Not really a base Astra wheel I think. Colour was 'Anthracite' on 'Sport-styled steel wheels' used previously on Astra MKII SR (T85) from September 1984. Cannot say if it was factory fit for MkIII. Probably not OE on this base car? (5½Jx14 Sport-styled Steel wheels or alloy wheels compared with 5½Jx13 on lesser models) -- Last edit: 2020-10-22 19:57:07 |

They were used on police spec MK3s, but not convinced this is one rather than switched wheels. |

^ Agreed about the Police spec. After about 2-years 'SR' was replaced with 'SRI' (I owned an E reg? for about a year) by then an alloy wheel was standard. The Styled Steel wheel from memory was probably dropped except for Police use? Police spec Astra MkIII edit: is very unlikely despite the fact were available as both 5-door hatch and 3-door hatch. (I thought they were 5-door only.) -- Last edit: 2020-10-22 20:39:54 |
