johnfromstaffs ◊ 2020-10-11 23:52	What happened was - I remembered about the Karrier/Yorkshire Street sweepers from somewhere within my pile of mush that serves as a brain. I Google that, and after a bit of fiddling about came up with Karrier/Lewin. That brought me to the Lewin street sweeper that had a split grille like a Seddon Mk7. I then went down a blind alley looking at Lacre Street sweepers. Finally, I Googled Karrier/Lewin again, but calling it a road sweeper, and up came the linked picture, as above. The Karrier version looks similar to the subject picture, but with a bonnet and grille like a Commer Superpoise Mk2 on Viagra.
