In Season 2 Episode 2, Johnny takes his 2011 Challenger in for some new paint and wheels and it magically transforms into a 2015 Challenger. SPOILER ALERT: It's explained that after Johnny Lawrence abandoned the car near the beach after Miguel's accident, wanting to turn his back on all things Cobra Kai including the car, it turns up at an auto auction and is bought back by Terry Silver.
