Listed this as Champion as it does not have a V8 badge. I also find it more likely that a taxi would use a six-cylinder engine. |

Unlike in 1957, V-8 badges were not used on the 1956 Studebakers. This could be either a Champion Pelham or a Commander Parkview. You would have to either read the series name on the tailgate and front fenders or look at the engine. |
