PLA 699E was London, April-July 67 and is a Super Imp Spring Special edition in silver, a small batch issued to apparently use up a special order for Canada which had been cancelled, although - as with other Rootes specials on Imps, Avengers etc with similar suggested explanations - I've never understood how such a diversion could switch from LHD to RHD. |
