Why made for USA? Looks RHD (there's something that looks like a steering wheel on the right)...

And Desmo Boomerang wing mirrors.

Definitely built at Crewe for use in U.K.

... which is very odd. RT 4700 seems secure on DVLA as current for the 1928 4½ Litre [FT3225], and still living happily in UK with event appearances scattered over the last 20 years. Its view on the rear in ep 1.04 looks as if the plate is stuck over the real plate underneath, so likely to be unsolvable mysteries why they selected this combination out of apparently thin air, and also what the real plate underneath is.

The 4 1/2 litre has been in the same family’s ownership since at least 1982, which is the earliest Bentley Drivers Club membership list I have.

Perhaps the owner knows about the real RT 4700 (it seems to be quite a famous car) and thought that it would be a cool number for a "showplate".

Try 133 TOD. If so it’s an S2.

By searching through all of the Bentley Drivers Club membership lists between 1982 and 2015, I had been able to ascertain common ownership of 133 TOD and RT 4700 for a while.

The rest is guesswork, but since there is so much of that in this database anyway, especially in the “made for” section, I feel no guilt for having guessed.

OK - S2 it is. But spiders eye headlights are unexpected.
