This is the Nardi-Danese ND1500, chassis #0055648, bodied by Motto and raced by Ilfo Minzoni and Sarti at the 1953 Mille Miglia with racing number 517. This car started life in 1947 like a siluro with a 8-cylinder 1.5 engine (the 'Marco'), soon changed into the Bertone bodied cabriolet with a 2 litre engine (already featured here), then changed again with 4 different bodies (and 3 engines)! |
