Having a little more time at my disposal, I have looked up HPJ, County Council of Surrey, March 1939. This car is therefore a Standard Flying Eight. The bonnet louvres also confirm prewar, and by the time of its re-introduction in 1945 the car had also ceased flying and become just the “Eight”. -- Last edit: 2020-07-09 13:10:34 |
