Done. I did wonder what it was, and it's onscreen for long enough to scrape in. |

thanks, sun roof version (yes, in Italy it was considerate a separate version) was very rare in Italy. |

About the 126, I remember a lady, wife of a frined of my grandfather (driving an ultrarare black Fiat 130 coupé) who had a 126 tetto apribile (sun roof in Italian) in "beige chiaro" (this light tan code 532), even with the same interior (there was a choise among black, ocker and green vinyl interiors or tan or green cloth). -- Last edit: 2020-06-17 09:15:30 |

UK got solid roof plain and L (reclining seats, hinged side windows) versions from July 73; Sunroof was trim name from Feb 74 with L spec. |

Btw, RHD 126 with sunroof was the last 126 type being produced in Italy until 1982, after the rest of the production was totally moved to Poland in 1980 |

By us not L trim but just separate options. You can have rear hinged side windows, reclining seats, cloth seats and a very simple sistem to avoid the car being atolen. |

Picking up the UK story from Glass's info ... April 75 - Solid roof L discontinued, leaving plain solid roof and Sunroof versions Dec 76 - range revamped with black side mouldings etc. Sunroof replaced by new De Ville with sunroof, sports wheels, velour trim, padded steering wheel Sept 77 - engine upgrade from 594cc to 652cc and renamed 650 July 79 - Limited Edition - based on De Ville with tints, black or silver April 82 - "Brown" limited edition - based on De Ville, brown paint and trim, double coachline July 83 - De Ville discontinued (which I guess is end of UK sunroofs??) Sept 83 - Plain solid roof upgraded with lots of luxuries (so becomes De Ville without the name??) May 85 - new bumpers, side mouldings, hub caps, seat trim, larger mirrors etc. Sept 87 - 2 door discontinued, replaced by 3 door 126 Bis from Dec 87 April 92 - 126 Bis discontinued. No changes listed since Dec 87. |

Since 1980 most version were built in Poland only. I mean that i think that in mid 1980 the 126 was discontinued in Italy. Maybe just the sunroof versions remained here in Italy but it is very strange. |

What is actually funny is that the luxus version of the 126, introduced in the autumn of 1976, was called 126 Personal in Italy, but this name was not a proper one in UK and in Germany (it was called Bambino there). I wonder which name was used in France... |

It's only a blink-and-miss-it appearance - not onscreen long enough to get a page. Added to main page comments. |

@dsl: I guess by your breakdown UK didn't get the "Bis Up" edition? Link to "i.pinimg.com" |

^ no sign of Bis Up in UK. Have rechecked Glass's and another comparable source, and there's only "continued without change" comments each year 87-92. |
