@dsl Wow this is a late registered 2012. Not sure if we can always assume '13' in the plate indicates a 2013 model... begs the question what was it doing for a year and a half before it was first registered in May of 2013. In a perfect world this site would operate simply on build dates, because they're solid. All the other devices we use - plate dates, MYs, reference guides, whatever else - are just substitutes and gap-pluggers for when we can't establish a build date. As for why this one apparently gathered dust for 14 months - who knows? Perhaps it was a duff spec in some way which never shifted off the showroom floor?? Or it got lost in the corner of a distribution centre for several months?? |
