Square plate. This is more than likely a retired USPS vehicle. There are a few that have entered GB. I cannot rule out a JDM model but maybe @jnglmpera can? |

I'm not sure... I checked as many UK cars on the Platesmania album as possible for these Legacies, but they seem to come in both patterns (regardless of which market they came from). This Legacy for instance seems to have had both types issued at various points and seems to be UKDM based on what checkhistory found. -- Last edit: 2024-05-05 06:01:50 |

On the example from Platesmania, the old rear plate was worn and faded. I suspect that the owner decided that new plates were needed and bought small plates to give it a JDM look. I doubt that a dealer selling a new UK market car would give it small plates. IIRC small plates on a car that does not need them would make it fail the MOT. -- Last edit: 2024-05-05 11:10:19 |
