Black bonnet badge means Singer rather than mid-66+ export branding as Sunbeam (red badges). Imps were exported to Venezuela and then (1965??) about 300-350 locally assembled from CKD. No info on which models, but I'd guess this came through somehow from Venezuela, whether built there or in Scotland. A good find. |
