dsl ◊ 2019-11-29 20:33	A pretty good depiction of the 1985 J-spec Mini Sprite - which was not a special edition as UK 1983 Sprite (which had alloys, different side tapes and a few other trinkets), but a simple renaming of the City for Mini relaunch in J. My book pictures don't show the sidemarker seen here, but there is a slight twist that the very first J relaunch cars were actually a batch intended for CDN but switched when they pulled out of CDN. A bit clumsy as 1980s CDN Minis had strange bumpers and were LHD, but they're the only Minis I can think of with that sidemarker format, but the artist here gets half a cigar. -- Last edit: 2020-04-06 16:50:35
