My personal view is that it looks slightly gauche with the hood up, but there’s some ownership history there. George Eyston no less, a world land speed record holder.

Coachwork attributed to Jarvis/Abbey Coachworks, Eyston was a Director of Jarvis of Wimbledon.

I know not many people give a stuff for history these days, but look up George Eyston’s other car, the Thunderbolt, 312mph in 1937, faster later.
