So what is the proper name? Is it Advance Design 3800 or simply 3800? ![]() |

@Terra, it would be 3800 Advance Design primarily due to the single piece windshield and the three piece (Bull Nose) grilll rather than the earlier model's five horizonatal slats and the bed rails were "cargo" as opposed to the previous slanted ones. Not pictured are the new steering wheel and dashboard as well as round tail lights instead of rectangular ones, and a new 235-cubic inch straight 6 (or 261-cubic inch straight 6) engine and possibly (akthough I doubt it in this film) a new hyramatic automatic transmisson that was only available as a option. |
