Definitely a BSA Winged Wheel propulsion unit, how would these be registered, as per the BSA bit or in the name of the bicycle you bolted it to? |

https://cyclemaster.wordpress.com/page-7-cyclemotors-at-1951-earls-court-show/ Can’t seem to find an answer to your question, but presumably some of the lower production quantity bicycles would not have been recognised by the Ministry, whereas BSA or Cyclemaster would have been. Imagine the telephone conversation “No, I said 30cc Henry Burton”. http://glorydays.cc/shop/bikes/henry-burton/ -- Last edit: 2019-08-16 20:19:09 |

BSA Winged Wheel introduced in 1953, according to this:- https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/11244/lot/555/ It would appear that the 1936 plate is out of line. -- Last edit: 2019-08-17 12:31:18 |
