Corgi 414 was a very similar Military Ambulance in a CA Mk2 - https://www.hobbydb.com/catalog_items/bedford-utilecon-military-ambulance (described as Utilecon), Link to "www.rubylane.com" , https://www.chezbois.com/corgi/1961/Model_414.htm - so maybe there was a genuine provenance. |

Martin-Walter did make a couple of ambulance versions of the standard CA van right from 1952 outwardly looked the same as a mini-bus for either sitting patients or could carry a single stretcher one with sliding doors and another with hinged doors plus an extra side-door. Also yes CA ambulances were registered by the British Army. So my doubts have been somewhat erased, thanks dsl. |
