Finally saw this tonight. T499 is currently in the Ensign Bus heritage fleet. Leaving aside that it left the London Transport fleet in 1954 (this scene is set in 1962), it's disappointing that a London Transport bus was used for this scene, with Oxford in the destination box, when more appropriate would have been a City of Oxford bus such as AEC Reliance 756 (756KFC). Oh, and by the way, scenes set in 1975 feature a London Transport AEC Routemaster. |
