◊ 2006-04-05 21:13 |

Yes, that's because the caveman guy shoots at it in the beginning of the movie. (I think this is the same guy- /vehicle_61738-Honda-VT-500-C.html) |

The window is not kicked so Ace can drive with his head out of the car, it's done on purpose, so the character looks somehow "cooler". |

Agreed! This, and the 1974 Dodge Monaco from "The Blues Brothers" (1980), which btw also features the driver, Elwood, driving with his head out the window (near the end of the movie for a brief time). I love big, fast, old beater cars! |

its funny how ace calls it a "high speed machine" |

Anyone ever able to make out Ace's plate number?? In one of the screen grabs in the earlier post, I'm able to make out '35N' for the last half of the plate. Is there ever a shot in this movie where one could obtain the first half? I just always wondered. |

In http://img155.imageshack.us/my.php?image=av94kt5.jpg there's a TW in the first half of the plate, but it's cut off before the T and unclear if there's anything between W and 3. So ?TW[?]35N if that helps. |

"LLLLIKE A GLOVE-AH!" |

Hmm good point. I didn't notice the T. There isn't anything between the W and 3. The old FL plates at that time simply had the silhouette of the state stamped in the middle of the digits. I looked up Florida license plates from the 90s and it looks like the unknown digit would have to be a letter. -TW 35N |

Actually the guy in the beggining was beating Ace's Monte Carlo with a baseball bat and he busted his back glass. He didn't shoot it lol. |
