Rare in UK 2-door, only sold here in Basic and L trims with 1.3 engine. Many were Ventian red used for Motability disabled conversions, and this might have started as one before being poshed up and getting a 2.0 (as plate info). Book comment that these 2-doors were only made in Cork and Genk, never at Dagenham. Likely that most (if not all) UK 2-doors came from Cork as it would not have been worth gearing up assembly to only supply IRL demand. |
