14stutz ◊ 2024-10-09 05:53	In answer to Reg1992... The base 4D was the Custom 300 four door sedan. Cost was $2275...I wonder what Universal paid for the car three years later that was destroyed? Ford had a confusing line up in '59...Custom 300, Fairlane, Fairlane 500 and Galaxie...all on the same chassis and wheelbase. That was before the Fairlane became a mid-sized car a couple of years later.
