wikipedia wrote The car that Goofy drives is a yellow Lincoln-Zephyr convertible. Although not every detail is correct on the cartoon car in relation to the original, its deep, growling sound is unmistakable.

Maybe something esle?

The front fender blending into the door isn't right but everything else says "Lincoln" to me. Part pre-war Zephyr and part post-war Zephyr (unofficially :)).

Could be. But look at the first image here in the comments section. The grille obviously belongs to a late 30's Ford Deluxe Convertible.

Or an approximation of the grille of a '36/'37 Lincoln Zephyr.

Uh-uh. Headlights are too close together. Obviously the look of an early 1940's Ford, not a late 30's Zephyr.

That's because one of them has obviously popped out of its bucket. :)

Nobody would design such a mass produced car with cockeyed headlights.

True, but think about it.

Wikipedia is actually correct, as the car the main character, "Mr. Wheeler", drives is indeed a Lincoln Zephyr convertible, 1940. This is the closest approximation to a real car, and therefore, I can vouch for it being a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr Continental. A few things here and there are changed on the car, but its body closely resembles that of a Lincoln Zephyr Continental.
