Body is Alexander N Type but chassis is uncertain. The livery looks like the same operator. If there is a shot of the registration number, it is much more easy to guess. https://www.flickr.com/photos/75296341@N07/8161814704 |

The livery is generic 'school bus'. I was hoping to id it definitively as a Dennis Javelin, one of 20 built in 1993 with Alexander (Belfast) 53 seat bodies in 2003 for the Western Education and Library board (WELB) and the Southern Education and Library Board, both in Northern Ireland. However, reviewing the footage, this one has a Republic of Ireland registration plate, 93-G-7735, logically enough since this is an Irish movie, and there's no sign of a Javelin badge or fleet number on the front. I would speculate that it at some point found its way south of the border.......... Read this: http://www.ith.org.uk/NType-forgotten.html - looking around the Web and looking at lots of photographs, I'm reasonably happy this is a Dennis Javelin which either was sold south of the border or acquired specifically for the movie. |

93-G-7735 is a dead end, could be a fake plate in place to disguise the real NI identity of the bus? |

Makes sense to me. |
