Plate returns: 1996 "LX" (2.0L manual). [HC]. Note: 1996 refers to the build date, not the date of first registration. Also, note: only one engine was offered in Mondeos in Australia between 1995-1999. A V6 was offered only on sedans and only in 2000, but very few were sold (only approx 260).
