I would still call it a Superior Coach SuperCruiser on a Mercedes Benz chassis if you wish to id it that way.. /vehicle_751543-Superior-Supercruiser.html |

Absolutely disagreed with that standard ID-ing, based on that source link's image posted above, the Mercedes-Benz logo is visible while Superior's logo brandings are nowhere to be found. I'd rather vote to list this under the maker of its chassis, instead of the coachbuilder who built this, because of that. Coachbuilder's brandings should be ONLY used IF their logo brandings aren't fully present, OR if the chassis' maker is known but model name is unknown (I know it's not real but thought if it's okay to put the make something like Superior-GMC and Superior-IH as makes instead of extra infos? As if they're not real joint-venture makes? It depending on our 'Make' fillbox's character limits. Might propose this in the forums later), OR if the coachbuilder's logo brandings were the only visible badges, OR if both coachbuilder's and chassis maker's logo brandings are either not visible (in-movie or outside sources) or censored in the movie/series. Because why not to? Coachbuilders listed as makes will often confused as full-fledged automaker startups to low-knowledgeable users/members. |
