Are we talking about Datsun/Nissan here?

Yes, facelifted in 1979, 1980 Datsun "810" - 160B/180B, maybe also named Bluebird, like it did happen on some markets.

With these squared headlamps it wasn't avaiable anywhere in Europe? I don't see it in Euro-brochures, but don't have any from 1979 and for 1980 already the new 910 model came out, seems in most European states.

These cars were probably bought directly from Japan. In the 1980s Japan was one of North Korea's top trading partners, believe it or not.

To be honest in 1980s most of countries still bought most of Japanese cars directly from Japan :)

No, my question about the existence of similar looking Euro-version was just OT in this case.

Those square headlights appeared in August 1978.

According to Glass's, UK 160B and 180B were facelifted in May 80 with rectangular lights and black grille, but wrapround indicators and black bumpers, plus side strips at bumper height, then discontinued in August 81. Then a revival in Jan 82 until May 84 with black bumpers with metal inserts.

Not sure what these late UK facelifts looked like, but those descriptions don't look right against the picture. To me the picture with big bumpers and small (sunken?) headlights looks more like what I'd expect for US spec, and without side trim maybe mid-late 70s before 1980+ upgrades.

I bet the mentioned May '80 facelift is already the next gen. 910 - the "wrapround inidicators" fit it and it is in 1980/81 (dated this way) British market brochure.
En.Wiki says that 810 facelift, like the one on main pic here, was to get e.g. in NZ, it was introduced there "during the 1979". I think Australia also had them with this look for a while.
In USA they had them w. round headlamps and at the end of life with sqaured. In Europe also for most of its life (or entire?) it had round ones too, possible that in last months it received squared lamps, but hard to find such Euro-cars. The linked above British looking pic is dated for July 1979 and car still has round ones.

New Zealand received this facelift in March 1979 badged as Datsun 180B (I had one), then upgraded around September/October as the Datsun 200B, which ran through to late 1981, so was sold alongside the 910 Bluebird series for a period of time. These were assembled in New Zealand also.
