It's drawn as a two-door but the number of windows would only make sense if it were a four-door (and all of Mercury's 1957 wagons were hardtops with no fixed B-pillar anyway). It kinda looks like the animators saw a picture of a Mercury hardtop two-door wagon, saw the far-side C-pillar visible through the airy hardtop opening, and misinterpreted it as a near-side B-pillar.
